Site surveys can be straight forward if done in an empty space, in a comfortable environment. In other words without any furniture, without staff working there, in a well-lit, well heated space with ample of time. However that is not always the case. With every project the D2D team continues to adapt to new unforeseen situations, whilst maintaining regulations, accuracy and time.
We recently completed measured surveys for Coldbath square in London and George Street project in Wolverhampton.
George Street comprised of four buildings. Along with a time sensitive deadline, we had to make sure to cover all floors of all four buildings, taking measurements and photographs in a fully working office. Surveying in a busy office, during the staff work hours greatly slows the process. In spite of that, we managed to complete the project in time, along with drawing up the floor plans, sections and elevations with every single detail accurately.
Coldbath square had a similar situation, this project was of four floors in one building, but this required a more detailed survey. We managed to deliver a full measured survey including all plumbing, drainage, electrics, RCP, CAD drawings with 100% accuracy, in no more than two days.
